FOUNDER'S NOTE

ArtBaan is a platform for all creative individuals to connect, exchange, and co-create experiences. It serves both as a space for professional networking and as a space for creative experimentation, an effort to further democratize the creative fields and bring together a new generation of creative individuals across disciplines. The idea of ArtBaan came from my direct experience in the art and creative industry. After years of engaging and observing, struggling with scattered information, surprised by how gated some areas remained, and wasting hours gaming algorithms in the hope they would show me the people I was looking for, I decided to build a space, a platform for the creatives. In this day and age, individual creativity has surged to a new level. More artists, designers, and architects are cross-experimenting beyond their fields, and just as importantly, people without formal training are creating and sharing. More forms of art experiences are emerging and open to us. Art has never been more present in our way of living, of experiencing, of learning. It is exactly the intersection of disciplines, of mediums, of people that attracts me the most, and that motivates me to keep building a space dedicated to this. ArtBaan starts here. It will grow with each of you who joins along the way, and become much more than what you see today. Take a seat and let's have a fun ride.
