PRIVACY POLICY

1. Who we are This Privacy Policy explains how ArtBaan (“we”) uses personal data when you use the ArtBaan websites, apps and services that link to it (the “Services”). ArtBaan is responsible for that data. Contact: privacy@artbaan.com. 2. What we collect - Account and profile: name, email, @handle, how you sign in, profile type, roles, mediums, themes, bio, links, photos, portfolio, and your city or area. Your exact address only if you add it. - Listings: the events and studios you publish, with photos, prices, dates and, for spaces, the address (shown to guests once they book). - Activity: tickets, bookings, exchanges, follows, likes, posts, reviews, messages, files you send, reports, feedback, and questions you ask in Help. - Payments: what you bought or sold, amounts, fees, refunds and payouts. Card and bank details are handled by our payment provider; we don't store full card numbers. - Hosts: identity, contact, business and tax details, and payout account details, where our payment provider or the law requires them. - Studio verification: if you verify a studio, photos taken during the check, your device's location at that moment, and the result of identity checks run by our payment provider. - Connected accounts: if you sign in with Google or connect Instagram, the information you allow them to share with us. - Technical data: IP address, device and browser, and logs of how the Services are used, to run and secure them. - Emails: whether links in some of our emails are clicked. 3. Why we use it - To provide the Services: accounts, profiles, listings, bookings, tickets, messages, payments and payouts (to perform our contract with you). - To send messages you need: sign-in codes, confirmations, receipts, reminders and changes (contract). - To meet legal duties: accounting, tax, consumer law and requests from authorities (legal obligation). - To keep ArtBaan safe and reliable: preventing fraud and spam, security, and reviewing profiles, listings and reports (legitimate interests). - To improve the Services and understand how they're used (legitimate interests). - To let hosts keep in touch: when you join a host's event, book their space or follow them, they may send you updates through ArtBaan. You can unsubscribe from each host at any time (legitimate interests). - To send ArtBaan news (consent or legitimate interests where the law allows). You can opt out at any time. 4. What others can see Your public profile and public listings can be seen by anyone and may appear in search engines, unless you choose to hide your profile. Hosts see the name and the details needed of people who book or join their listings. Messages are seen by the people in the conversation. A space's exact address is shown to a guest once their booking is confirmed. Hosts on some plans can see whether people opened links in the emails they sent them. 5. Who we share it with We use service providers that process data for us under contract: hosting, database and file storage; email delivery; payments, payouts and identity checks; maps and address search; AI services; sign-in; video playback; and internal tools our team uses to be notified and act on reports, reviews, cancellations and account requests. We also share data with tax and other authorities where the law requires, with professional advisers, and with a buyer or successor if ArtBaan is reorganised, merged or sold. We don't sell your personal data. 6. AI We use AI services to suggest text, read details from links or pictures you share, understand searches, answer Help questions, and help us review profiles and listings for safety and quality. A review may hold back a profile or a listing until our team looks at it; a person makes the final decision on removing anything. Our AI providers are not allowed to use this data to train their models. 7. Transfers outside Europe Some providers process data outside the EU and EEA, for example in the United States. We rely on safeguards recognised by EU law, such as adequacy decisions (including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or Standard Contractual Clauses. 8. Cookies and storage in your browser We use cookies and similar storage that are needed for the Services to work: to keep you signed in, protect payments against fraud, remember your preferences (such as dark mode), keep unfinished drafts, and show maps. Some providers set their own when you use their features: our payment provider on payment pages, the map provider when a map loads, and video platforms when you play a video. We don't use advertising cookies. If we add optional analytics or marketing cookies, we'll ask for your consent first. 9. How long we keep it We keep personal data for as long as we need it for the purposes above. Payment, booking and tax records are kept as long as the law requires, which can be up to 10 years. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable time, except what we must or are entitled to keep, for example for legal obligations, disputes or safety. Messages you sent may remain visible to the people you sent them to, under “Former member”. 10. Your rights Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, and to restrict or object to its use. You can download a copy of your data in Account and settings. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to privacy@artbaan.com; we may ask you to confirm your identity. You can also complain to a data protection authority, in particular in the country where you live or work. 11. Security We use measures such as encryption in transit and access controls to protect data. No system is completely secure. If a breach is likely to put you at risk, we'll tell you as the law requires. 12. Children The Services are not intended for anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact privacy@artbaan.com and we'll delete it. 13. Changes We may update this Policy. We'll tell you about important changes in advance, by email or in the Services. 14. Contact Questions or requests: privacy@artbaan.com. Last updated 19 October 2026
